EPP Party Congress and Leaders Summit in Bucharest
Over 1200 participants from 40 countries have been invited, on Wednesday and Thursday, to Bucharest where the European People's Party will hold its Congress and its traditional Summit of Heads of State and Government of the EPP political family. This event, hosted by the PDL and RMDSZ Parties in the Romanian Chamber of Deputies, will debate the updated party platform and will elect the new EPP Presidency. EPP Group Study Days in Bucharest
Also in Bucharest on Wednesday and Thursday, the EPP Group MEPs will hold their Study Days. This time, the debates will focus on two items: how to promote jobs and social cohesion in the EU, and how to bridge the gap between the interests of copyright holders and Internet users. Vice-President of the European Commission responsible for Industry and Entrepreneurship, Antonio Tajani, European Commissioners Michel Barnier (Internal Market and Services), Johannes Hahn (Regional Policy), Dacian Cioloş (Agriculture and Rural Development), and Vice-President of the European Commission responsible for Justice, Fundamental Rights and Citizenship, Viviane Reding, will participate in the debate.
